A tribute to Karlis Skrastins, former Dallas Star.
Karlis always had a smile on his face and always made time for fans. He was a warrior on the ice too, sacrificing his body night after night. He will be missed. Karlis perished in a plane crash September 7, 2011, along with his team Lokomotiv of the Kontinental Hockey League. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of all of the victims - such a terrible loss.
